You can get a job in Healthcare!

This class will prepare you for a job as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Patient Care Aide, Resident Care Assistant or Home Health Aide. 

You will learn skills in:

• Cross-cultural competence and communication
• Confidentiality and critical observation
• Teamwork and leadership skills
• Problem solving, and technology
• Resume writing and interviewing

The course is 40 hours. Students are required to complete the full 40 hours. At the end of class, you will receive an attendance certificate.

Saturday Mornings,
January 11 - March 29
(No Class on February 15 and March 15)
9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Where:

Online Google Meet Class. The teacher will send you a link.

Who:

Current students in levels 4 or 5 or adults who have an eligible reading test score.

Registration:

Tell your teacher you would like to sign up or call the Adult Education Center at 763-706-3833 to set up an appointment to enroll.

Registration includes a reading test to determine eligibility.
