(3/27/20) Following the current executive order from the state of Minnesota to stay at home, Metro North Adult Basic Education (ABE) has made the following change in services until May 5, 2020, to assure the health and safety of students, teachers, staff, and volunteers.

In-person Metro North Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes and programs located at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College suspended until Mar. 30
(3/13/20) Students encouraged to contact teachers via email during this time to continue learning via online resources.
Anoka-Hennepin Schools and Anoka-Hennepin Community Education, the managing Metro North Adult Basic Education (ABE) consortium partner, are together closely monitoring the respiratory illness novel coronavirus or COVID-19 and have a coordinated management planning effort to guide action steps in this situation. The district and community education programs will continue to follow the expert guidance from the United States Centers for Disease Control, the Minnesota Department of Health, and county public health agencies.
