English as a Second Language Bridge to Certified Nursing Assistant

  • In this Certified Nursing Assistant Training class, you will learn the skills and knowledge needed to provide day-to-day care to patients in a variety of settings: nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home health care. This class will prepare you to take and pass the state exam so you can begin your rewarding career. There is no cost for this course.

    • 10-week class includes a state-approved training program with a nurse instructor
    • Support for English Language Learners
    • Learn basic patient care and medical terminology
    • Hands-on skills and clinical experience

     

    When: March 1st - May 22nd

    Where: Online and In-Person Class:

    Every Tuesday and Thursday

    9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Online

    With the following dates in person:

    In-Person class at Prime Time Medical Training Center, Blaine:

    All Saturday classes are in person from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

    Except for the following,

    • Saturday, March 29, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, April 19, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, April 26, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, May 3, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, May 10, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
    • Saturday, May 17, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
    • Saturday, May 24, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

    There will be no class the week of October 13th -19th.

    Who:

    Current students in levels 5 or 6, or adults who have an eligible reading test score.

    Registration includes a reading test to determine if you are eligible.
