• Anoka Technical College Class Series

    Anoka Technical College offers a free online class series four times a year.  Each class series is 14 sessions long.  When students sign up for classes, they will also start some online practice for each of the class series they choose.  Students will need to attend in-person assessment testing and an online orientation to be a part of online classes.

    Upcoming Summer Classes:

    • Starts on October 3rd

    READING (a series of 14 classes)
    Each class will include - Reading comprehension strategies and vocabulary development
    Mondays and Wednesdays, 5 - 5:50 p.m.

    ENGLISH - (a series of 14 classes)
    Each class will include - English skills including sentence structure, grammar, mechanics, and usage
    Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 - 6:50 p.m.

    MATH TEST PREP (a series of 14 classes)
    Main Topics: 
    Arithmetic - Fractions, Decimals, Ratio/Proportion, Percent, Statistics & more
    Algebra - Integers, Expressions, Equations, & Inequalities
    Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

    Enrollment

    To enroll in the class series you must complete the following steps by September 20th:

    Step 1 - Fill out and submit the online interest form by clicking here.

    Step 2 - After you submit the online interest form, you will be emailed a link to the online technology survey.

    Step 3 - After the Technology Form is submitted, you will be emailed a link to the Learner Entry Form.

    Step 4 - After completing the Learner Entry Form, the instructor will email you with information about required assessment testing, class details, and an invitation to the required online class orientation.  The online class orientation will be on Tuesday, October 1st, or Wednesday, October 2nd, 6:30 - 8 p.m.
