Diploma options
Metro North Adult Basic Education (ABE) has helped hundreds of students work on completing their adult diploma at two site locations across the north metro Twin Cities area. Study for the adult diploma is available at our Blaine Learning Lab and Elk River Community Education Center locations. Options include:
Adult Diploma Credit Recovery:
- Earn missing credits to complete a high school diploma
- Must be 18 years old or older
- High school class has already graduated
- Must meet minimum assessment scores
Minnesota Standard Adult Diploma:
- Earn a diploma from the state of Minnesota by completing academic competences
- Competences can be met in different ways including credits earned in high school and work experience
- Minimum age is 19 but recommended for students 21 years old or older
- Must meet minimum assessment scores
