What do I need for the GED test?
You will need to bring a current, valid, government issued ID to your testing session. Photo ID's include:
- Minnesota driver’s license
- Minnesota state ID
- Passport
- Military ID
Personal belongings are not allowed with you in the testing room. This includes food, beverage, coat, purse, hat, wallet, keys, cell phone, etc. Testing centers will provide a secure place to keep your personal belongings while you are testing but space maybe limited.
When a calculator is allowed testers may bring a handheld TE-30XS calculator. Some testing centers (including Anoka and Blaine) will provide a tester with a handheld calculator. Testers at Anoka and Blaine will not be allowed to bring their own calculator.
If you have any questions about what you can or cannot bring to the GED® test, contact Metro North ABE.
