As the school year winds down, there are often celebrations in our offices and at our sites. Metro North Adult Basic Education (ABE) staff met for their final professional development session for the year two weeks ago, and took a few moments to honor and recognize longtime teacher, Charles LaRue; and Community Education Assistant Manager overseeing adult programs, Pat Adams.

After serving Anoka-Hennepin Community Education and Metro North ABE for many years, Pat Adams and Charles LaRue will retire in June. Adams has served the program for 23 years, and LaRue for 36 years.

We thank Pat and Charles for their great work and longtime commitment to our adult learners!
