GED Testing Information

GED long

The GED has four tests or modules that can be taken in any order. Tests are computer-based and can be taken at an approved GED® testing center or from home using Online Proctored testing.

GED charges $36 per subject for the GED® test. However, for a limited time, Minnesota State will pay the total cost of the fee for your first test in each subject. Use the promo code MNHSEFREE at checkout to have your fee waived.

You must have a Minnesota address to receive this fee waiver.
