Metro North Adult Basic Education (ABE) is embarking on an exciting new chapter in our partnership with Brooklyn Center Community Schools. In June, Metro North relocated to a newly renovated facility at 5910 Shingle Creek Parkway. The site is approximately 20,000 square feet and is a city-owned entrepreneurial market plaza. The move allows  Metro North ABE to serve as the community's new Opportunity Site.

Renowned for its diverse adult education programs—from foundational literacy and numeracy skills to GED preparation and English language proficiency courses—Metro North ABE will now expand its reach and impact through this strategic partnership. With spacious classrooms, advanced technology labs, and administrative offices all under one roof, Metro North ABE is poised to accommodate a larger student body and deliver enhanced educational experiences. This move signifies more than just a location change; it signifies a shared commitment to fostering learning opportunities that uplift and transform lives.
