Free online citizenship classes starting November 9, 2020

The Columbia Heights/Fridley Adult Education Center will be offering an online citizenship class starting in November.  This free class will help students prepare for the U.S. Citizenship interview.  They will learn the process of becoming a U.S. Citizen, basics of U.S. history and government information, tips on filling out the application, and interview practice.  Students will also learn how to connect with local immigration legal services.

The Citizenship class will be held online Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., from November 9 - December 14, 2020.

Registration is required before starting this online class.  Current Metro North ABE students in level 3 or higher can either tell their teacher or call 763-706-3833 to sign up.  Those not currently attending classes please call the Columbia Heights/Fridley Adult Education Center at 763-706-3833. Registration includes a reading test.
