ESL Bridge to CNA
English as a Second Language Bridge to Certified Nursing Assistant
In this Certified Nursing Assistant Training class for English language learners, you will learn the skills and knowledge needed to provide day-to-day care to patients and residents in long-term care. This class will prepare you to take and pass the state exam so you can begin your rewarding career in healthcare. There is no cost for this course.
- 12-week class includes a state-approved training program with a nurse instructor
- Support for English Language Learners
- Teaches basic patient care, safety, and medical terminology
- Hands-on skills and clinical experience
When:
June 2nd to September 3rd, Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Where:
Hybrid - Students attend Online on Tuesdays and Thursdays - Google Meet and In Person on Wednesdays - Adult Education Center in Columbia Heights and Prime Time Medical Training in Spring Lake Park
Who:
Adult English Language Learners who want to begin a career as a Nursing Assistant.
Eligibility: Students in level 5+ or CASAS GOALS 2 score of 228+
Registration:

Registration includes a reading test to determine if you are eligible.
