ESL Bridge to CNA

English as a Second Language Bridge to Certified Nursing Assistant

In this Certified Nursing Assistant Training class for English language learners, you will learn the skills and knowledge needed to provide day-to-day care to patients and residents in long-term care. This class will prepare you to take and pass the state exam so you can begin your rewarding career in healthcare. There is no cost for this course.

  • 12-week class includes a state-approved training program with a nurse instructor
  • Support for English Language Learners
  • Teaches basic patient care, safety, and medical terminology
  • Hands-on skills and clinical experience

When:

February 28th - May 26th Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for most classes. Some Saturdays have longer hours for skills labs and clinicals.

Who:

Current students in levels 5 or 6, or adults who have an eligible reading test score.

Registration:

If you are currently enrolled, tell your teacher if you would like to sign up.

If you are not currently enrolled, email Karalee.Cin@ahschools.us or call the Adult Education Center at 763-706-3833.

Registration includes a reading test to determine if you are eligible.
