About Metro North ABE

Metro North ABE will inspire and challenge all learners to reach their full potential. In a safe, supportive environment, we will teach the skills needed to succeed as responsible citizens in our changing world.

The vision of Metro North ABE is to provide programs that effectively develop the skills needed by individuals to achieve their goals.

Adults can take classes taught by licensed teachers and supported by trained volunteers who work with students to meet their educational goals. A student may start class at any time throughout the year and classes are offered year-round during the day and evening. 

Classes offered can help students:

• Improve basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Earn a high school diploma or GED
• Learn and improve the English language
• Prepare for college or a career
